company, in all asepects of planning and executing a direct marketing
campaign to promote its public seminars throughout the United States.
Hawthorne managed the design, printing, list purchasing and mailing
of self mailers like the one pictured to the right. |

Library. ITC Learning, a producer of CD-ROM and video-based
safety and industrial technical skills training, needed a direct-mail
campaign to promote it's extensive library of video-based courses.
Hawthorne wrote the copy, worked with a designer to achieve the
right look & feel, selected the mailing lists and managed the
printing and mailing. |

for Oliver Wight, a consulting firm specializing in the manufacturing
industries. Hawthorne helped Oliver Wight in developing the product
name and branding campaign. Hawthorne worked with an outside designer
to first design print ads
to promote the product, followed by booth
graphics and the post card pictured above. Hawthorne managed
the creative, printing and mailing processes. |

Lifetime Learning:
"Big Hero"
Print Ad and Direct Mail Postcard. A
reworking of a successful ad campaign used by Xebec Interactive
(which McGraw-Hill Lifetime Learning acquired in 1998), this campaign
promotes McGraw-Hill Lifetime Learning's full range of self-paced
learning modules. Hawthorne brought in a designer to ad new life
to this old campaign, wrote the copy, and placed the ad in several
training publications. A direct mail campaign accompanied the advertising
campaign. |
